Daily limits and safe values

The daily limit for each action on each plan, how safe values and their warnings work, and LinkedIn's weekly limit.

Every kind of action has a daily limit for each LinkedIn account. Each limit is a slider, and you can set it anywhere up to the maximum for your plan.

Every action that opens a profile also counts as a profile view, so the profile views limit holds everything on LinkedIn back. An email does not open a profile.

Change a limit

  1. Choose the account with the switcher at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Open Limits and settings.
  3. Under Daily limits, move the slider. Under each slider you see its Plan maximum.
  4. Press Save changes.

The days are counted on the account's own clock, the time zone set on the same page. Today's use shows on the Home page and on the account's card on the Accounts page.

Safe values and warnings

Under a slider you see its Safe value. Past that value the slider turns amber and a warning appears under it. The warning says:

  • LinkedIn itself limits how much an account may do, and how many invitations it may send each week.
  • NurtureLead has no weekly guard, so it keeps going up to your daily number.
  • What happens when LinkedIn's limit is hit.

Press Set back to the safe value in the warning to return to it. A slider that says No safe value set has no guide yet.

The numbers are yours to set, and the account is the one at risk. A safe value is a guide. It is not a promise about what LinkedIn will do: LinkedIn can limit or restrict an account that automates.

LinkedIn's weekly invitation limit

There is no weekly guard in NurtureLead. When LinkedIn shows its weekly invitation notice:

  • Invites on that account wait until LinkedIn allows them again. One invite is tried again a day later.
  • Everything else on the account carries on.
  • The Home page shows a banner, and you get the alert LinkedIn's weekly invitation limit was hit.
  • People waiting on a connection request keep their place in the workflow.

When your plan changes

If you move to a plan with lower maximums, any slider above the new maximum comes down to it. Moving up does not raise your sliders: it lets you set them higher.
