How NurtureLead runs your account

Your LinkedIn account runs in a browser on our servers, inside the working hours, gaps and limits you set.

NurtureLead is a web app. There is nothing to download, install or keep open, and your own computer can be off.

Where your account runs

Each LinkedIn account you connect runs in its own browser on NurtureLead's servers. You see that browser only in the sign-in window, when you sign in to LinkedIn. After that the account works from the servers.

LinkedIn sees your account in your own city, not at our servers. Each account goes out through a residential internet address in the city you use LinkedIn from, worked out when you add the account. You can change the city on the Accounts page. If that connection is ever down, your account pauses rather than reach LinkedIn from anywhere else, and it resumes by itself.

One action at a time

An account does one thing at a time. After each action it waits a random time between the Shortest gap between actions and the Longest gap between actions, then does the next thing that is due:

  1. A reply that is approved and whose delay has passed.
  2. The next workflow step that is due and still has room in its daily limit.
  3. A check for new replies, or for who accepted your connection requests, when one is due.

Every action on LinkedIn opens a profile, so it also counts as one profile view. An email does not.

A search you start on the Search page runs ahead of these. The AI drafts replies whether or not the account is running, because drafting does not touch LinkedIn. Sending the reply does.

Working hours

Nothing is sent outside working hours. On the Limits and settings page, in the Pace card, you set:

  • Working hours start and Working hours end.
  • Weekdays only: no actions on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Time zone: working hours, weekdays and the daily counts follow this clock.

A new account starts with working hours from 8:00 to 19:00 and with Weekdays only switched on.

Set the pace

  1. Choose the account with the switcher at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Open Limits and settings.
  3. In Pace, move the sliders for the gaps and the working hours.
  4. Switch Weekdays only on or off, and choose the Time zone.
  5. Press Save changes.

If the longest gap is below the shortest, or the working hours end before they start, the page tells you what the value becomes when you save.

Start, pause and resume

The header of the app shows the state of the account in view:

  • Running: it is working, and the header counts down to the next action.
  • Outside working hours: it carries on when working hours start.
  • Not running: you paused it, or have not started it yet. Press Start.
  • Needs you: the account stopped itself. Read why on the Accounts page, then press Resume.

Pause stops everything on that account until you start it again. People keep their place in their workflows.
