An alert tells you that something needs you. Alerts reach you in three ways: in the app, by email, and as a browser notification. Text messages are not offered.
What you are told about
| Group | Alert |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn accounts | LinkedIn asks for a verification code |
| LinkedIn accounts | An account is signed out |
| LinkedIn accounts | An account stopped and needs you |
| LinkedIn accounts | LinkedIn's weekly invitation limit was hit |
| Conversations | A reply is waiting for you |
| Conversations | A goal was reached |
| Plan and billing | AI allowance at 80% |
| Plan and billing | AI allowance used up |
| Plan and billing | A payment failed |
Every alert is switched on for all three ways until you change it.
Where alerts show
- In the app: the bell in the header shows how many alerts are unread. Press it to see the latest ones. Pressing an alert opens the page it is about, and Mark all as read clears the count.
- Email: alerts are sent to the address you log in with.
- Browser notification: these appear while NurtureLead is open in a tab, in a browser where you have allowed them.
Choose your alerts
- Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar (it shows your email address) and choose Notifications.
- Under What you are told about, each alert has three switches: In the app, Email and Browser notification. Switch off the ones you do not want.
Each switch is saved when you change it. The choices are your own: every person in a team sets theirs.
Allow browser notifications
- On the Notifications page, find Allow browser notifications and press Allow.
- Accept the question your browser asks.
- Press Send a test to see one.
Permission is per browser, so do this in each browser you use. If the page says Blocked in this browser, allow notifications for the site in the browser's own site settings, then reload the page.
Who gets an alert
An alert about a LinkedIn account goes to everyone in the organisation who may use that account: the owner, the admins, and the members it is assigned to.
