Workflow canvas

Lay the outreach out once. Every person follows it.

Build your outreach from steps on a canvas. Everyone you add moves through it step by step, inside your hours and limits.

On every plan.

What it does

Every step, wait and branch on one canvas

Add the steps, and the canvas lays them out for you.

  • Every step type. Connection request, visit profile, follow, like latest post, endorse a skill, send a message, send an InMail and send an email.
  • Waits. Wait up to 90 days, and move on as soon as they accept.
  • Branches. Send people who accepted one way, and everyone else another.
  • Fields in messages. {first}, {company} and more, filled in for each person. A message with a missing field waits for you instead of going out half written.
  • Live counts. Each card shows how many people are on that step right now.
  • A reply stops the workflow. The moment someone replies, their workflow stops and the conversation moves to the inbox.

How you use it

Build it, start it, watch it run

  1. 01

    Start from a ready one

On Workflows, two starter workflows are waiting. Edit one, Duplicate it, or start a New workflow.

  2. 02

    Add the steps

Drag a step from Modules onto a +, write its message or set its wait, then press Save workflow.

  3. 03

    Start it for people

On People, tick who you want and press Start for, or use Start for every new match.

  4. 04

    Switch the account on

Press Start. The Active page shows who is on which step and when it is due.

Who it is for

For outreach that takes more than one message

DM

A founder selling a service

For example, Dana Mercer

Dana sends a connection request with a short note, waits up to 5 days, then messages everyone who accepted and likes a post for everyone else.

LO

A recruiter

For example, Luis Ortega

On the No branch, Luis sends an InMail. Paid InMail credits are only spent if he switches that on.

SW

A consultant

For example, Sam Whitfield

After a LinkedIn message, Sam follows up by email from his own Outlook.

Questions

Questions about workflows

How big can a workflow be?

Up to 60 steps, counting the steps on every branch, with branches up to 5 levels deep.

What happens to people when I change a workflow?

Everyone stays on their step. If you remove a step, the people on it move to the next one.

Do I need a step that checks for replies?

No. A reply stops the workflow by itself.

What if a step does not fit a person?

It is skipped and they move on, such as a like for someone with no posts.
